This owner program is designed to support pineapple farmers by getting them involved in KISEKI’s leafless pineapple efforts.

How the Pineapple Owner System Works

You can register with us when you purchase KISEKI LABEL products (items made from pineapple leaf fiber).
Pineapple (Gold Barrel from Churashima Farm) You can apply for each pineapple (Gold Barrel from Churashima Farm) by paying a support fee for each seedling. A single pineapple seedling produces one of the finest fruits.
We plan to be able to deliver grown pineapples around July each year. The box will be an original box with a pineapple inside and a thank you message card.
A portion of the amount of pineapple you support will be used to pay for seedlings for next year’s increased production. We will also create a system to give priority to those who support the project as a benefit of their support.

Churashima Farm is located in Higashimura, Okinawa.

Gold Barrel”, the highest grade of pineapple, is a rare domestic pineapple that takes three years to harvest and less than 1% of the pineapple is sold in the market due to the difficulty of cultivation.

It is characterized by its high sugar content and refreshing, elegant sweetness. It also features a good balance of sugar content, acidity, and ripeness, and is less prone to the sourness and bitterness characteristic of pineapples.

It is so soft that you can even eat the core, and when you put it in your mouth, the juice overflows and is indescribably delicious.

What is pineapple?

After the pineapples are harvested, the fiber is extracted from the leaves that were discarded in the fields. （The machine for primary processing is already installed on the premises where the pineapple fields of Kurashima Farm are located.)

Natural fiber extracted from pineapple leaves is used to make fabric, which is then used to make clothing materials such as aloha shirts and jeans.
The scraps from the fiber extraction process are then transformed into biodegradable materials such as pineapple leaf fiber straws.

Currently, since both fibers and biodegradable plastics are natural materials, we are working to create a system to collect and return them to the soil and circulate them as materials that can be returned to the soil.
