沖縄県北部やんばる
「奇跡の森」のパイナップル畑で
誕生しました
KISEKI LABEL is Yanbaru in northern Okinawa.
It was born in the pineapple field of “Miracle Forest”.
パイナップル果実が収穫された後、畑に残った葉は使い道がなく今までは廃棄されていました。
このパイナップルの葉から、繊維を取り出すことができ、「KISEKI LABEL」が生まれました。
パイナップル農家さんから葉を買い取り、葉から繊維を取り出します。
この繊維が糸・生地となり、ファッションをはじめとしたライフスタイル製品へと生まれ変わります。
海を汚さずに、大地に還ることができる素材です。
KISEKI LABELは、食べ物を選ぶように、ファッションを選ぶことで訪れる「幸せの循環」の実現を目指しています。
After the pineapple fruit was harvested, the leaves left in the field were useless and were previously discarded.
Fiber could be taken out from the leaves of this pineapple, and "KISEKI LABEL" was born.
Buy the leaves from a pineapple farmer and extract the fiber from the leaves. These fibers become threads and fabrics, and are reborn as lifestyle products such as fashion. It is a material that can be returned to the earth without polluting the sea.
KISEKI LABEL aims to realize a "circulation of happiness" that comes from choosing fashion, just like choosing food.

今、ファッション業界は石油産業に次ぐ世界第２位の環境汚染産業と言われてその生産背景から消費後までのあり方が見直されています。
例えば、ファッションのおよそ６割は化学繊維によって作られていますが、洗うたびに流出する微細な化学繊維が、海洋汚染の一つであるマイクロプラスチック問題の35%を占めると言われています。
また、天然繊維の代表であるコットンは農薬使用量が一番多い農業です。
このような背景が、ファッションの裏側に潜んでいることが正しくないとされ、ファッション産業のあり方が見直されています。
Today, the fashion industry is said to be the second largest environmental pollution industry in the world after the oil industry, and its production background and post-consumption are being reviewed.
For example, about 60% of fashion is made of chemical fibers, but it is said that the fine chemical fibers that flow out every time you wash account for 35% of the microplastic problem, which is one of the marine pollution.
In addition, cotton, which is a representative of natural fibers, is an agriculture that uses the largest amount of pesticides.
It is not correct that such a background is hidden behind fashion, and the fashion industry is being reviewed.
パイナップル繊維は、元々食べられていた産物の使われていなかった葉から生まれ変わる持続可能な天然繊維です。
使う過程においても環境負荷をかけず、最終的に土に還ることができます。
パイナップルは世界中で生産されている南国フルーツで、その葉の量は膨大にあり、新たな天然繊維産業となる可能性を秘めています。
Pineapple fiber is a sustainable natural fiber that is reborn from unused leaves of the originally eaten product. Even in the process of using it, it can be finally returned to the soil without imposing an environmental load.

10人に1人の子どもが児童労働をしているとも言われています。児童労働とは、義務教育を妨げる労働や法律で禁止されている18歳未満の危険・有害な労働のことを指します。
多くの人が、児童労働を自分ごとに考える機会はなかなかないかもしれません。しかし決して無関係ではありません。
子どもの不当な労働で作られているコットンが、衣服に生まれ変わり、生産背景がわからない形で私たちが選んでいるかもしれません。
消費者の「安く買いたい」という発想。
そしてそれを受けた企業の「原価を安くして、利益をたくさん上げたい」という利益主義が、生産者へのしわよせとなって、児童労働を生むことにつながっているのです。
私たちは、パイナップル繊維の事業をスタートしたことで、紡ぐ相手になるコットンの課題を知りました。
私たちが志すのは、負の循環を「幸せの循環」にすることです。
コットンの課題は根深く、一朝一夕に解決できるものではないことは重々承知の上ですが、だからこそできることから始めたい。既に真心を込めて活動をされている人たちがいます。私たちは彼らと共に、力を合わせて児童労働がない世界を目指します。

It is also said that one in ten children is in child labor. Child labor refers to work that interferes with compulsory education or dangerous or harmful work under the age of 18 that is prohibited by law.
Many people may not have the opportunity to think about child labor on their own. But it's not irrelevant.
Cotton made from the unfair labor of children may be reborn as clothing, and we may choose it in a way that the production background is unknown.
The idea of consumers to "buy cheaply".
And the profit principle of the company that received it, "I want to reduce the cost and make a lot of profits", has become a wrinkle to the producers and has led to the birth of child labor.
By starting the pineapple fiber business, we learned about the challenges of cotton as a spinning partner.
Our goal is to turn the negative cycle into a "circle of happiness." I am well aware that the challenges of cotton are deep-rooted and cannot be solved overnight, but that is why I want to start with what I can do. There are people who are already working with all their heart. Together with them, we work together to create a world free of child labor.
